Malaysian budget carrier AirAsia is offering one-way tickets for as low as US$3 to Asian and European destinations, including Vietnam, for travel between September 25 and February 13 next year.
The Big Sale promotion will be available online between March 3 and 7.
The fare from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta starts at $29. A Hanoi – Bangkok ticket costs $19 and Hanoi-Kuala Lumpur, $29.
All fares include taxes and airport fees.
AirAsia flies to more than 70 destinations in Southeast Asia, India, China, Britain, and Australia.
Asia’s first no-frills airline flies from Vietnam to Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Last month it announced it has bought a 30 percent stake in Vietnamese private carrier VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Co. to establish budget carrier VietJet AirAsia.
VietJet AirAsia is scheduled to begin operations in May on both domestic and international routes.
