German carmaker Volkswagen opened a showroom in Hanoi on Thursday, its first foray into the Vietnamese market.
The 3,000 square meter space at 315 Nguyen Khoai Street in Hai Ba Trung District will showcase its New Beetle, Passat, Tiguan, and Touareg models.
The models have been imported by World Auto Limited – Volkswagen’s authorized dealer in Vietnam.
The showroom will also offer maintenance and information services, said World Auto general director, Nguyen Hoang Long.
Long said he will open a second showroom in the southern Ho Chi Minh City soon.
